1st—8th Grade Application / Registration Procedures

Application Process

Fill out Application Packet and bring to the school office the following items: Birth Certificate, Baptisimal Certificate, Confirmation / First Eucharist Certificate if Applicable, Current Immunization Record, Current School Records.

Fees

The New Family Registration Fee is $250 and due at the time of registration.

The Returning Family Registration Fee is $150 and due during re-registration in February.

1st — 8th Grade Classroom

We use the following criteria when accepting students for enrollment in our 1st-8th Grade Classroom:

  • Child must be six years old by September 1st for first grade. This is a requirement of the Arizona Department of Education and adhered to by our school administration.
  • Siblings already registered at San Francisco de Asis Catholic School are given preference
  • Contributing registered members of San Francisco de Asis Catholic Parish are given preference

Transfer Students

Parents of students transferring from another school must meet with the Principal prior to enrollment at SFdA School.

All students transferring from another school during the school year must have a Teacher Evaluation Form completed by their current teacher. Every child develops at a different pace. This assessment will allow the teacher and parents to determine the academic and social readiness for each candidate.  The Teacher Evaluation Form must be completed prior to transferring to SFdA school.

The application form and registration fee assures that a spot will be held for your child in the appropriate class.

There are 24 available spots in each classroom Kindergarten through 8th Grades and are available on a first come, first served basis observing the above preferences.
